Article 1: Eligibility of Membership - Bladeauction.com is only available to people who are legally able to form binding contracts with the seller/buyer of an auction item. People who are under the age of 18 are not eligible for membership due to state laws concerning the age of majority. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not eligible to use these auction services.
Article 2: Due to the inherent nature of knives and related items there are many different local, state, and federal laws governing their posession, sale, and shipping. Violation of any of the various laws is strictly forbidden. You must be in compliance with any and all laws when selling or buying using Bladeauction.com
Article 3: Bladeauction.com is only providing Internet auction services. We only provide services to people interested in selling and buying merchandise via an Internet auction. We do not have control over the items that are posted in the auction site, and cannot guarantee the authenticity and quality of a said product. We are not responsible for the actions that the sellers take before, during, or after the auction, typographical errors, misprints, loss of merchandise/money, damage or failure of equipment, due to your visit to this auction site. Use of this site is at your own risk and content is presented 'As-Is'
Article 4: Bidding - A bid is a binding contract between you and the seller, and the bid cannot be retracted unless due to mistake by the seller, typographical error, human error on the seller's part, or other error. Once you place a bid, and it is the winning bid, you will be obligated to buy the product at the said price you indicated as your bid. Placing a bid on this auction site, winning, then not paying for the product is illegal in most states, resulting in possible prosecution.
Article 5: Seller - As a seller the item that you place up for bid must be real. Pre-sales are not accepted, you must have the item on hand when you list it for sale and must keep it on hand for the duration of the auction. Once a bid has been placed for your item, you have entered into a binding contract with the potential buyer of the product, if that bid shall be the highest bid. Once the auction is over, if over reserve price, you are obligated to sell to the potential buyer which is the highest bidder in your auction. If, reserve price was not met, you are not obligated in any way to sell this item at all.
Article 6: Prohibited Listings - The sale of merchandise that infringe any third party's intellectual property, including copyright, patent, trademark, or other proprietary rights is prohibited.
Items that are up for bid may be removed at any time without prior notice.
Article 7: Prohibited Acts - The following acts are prohibited:
(A) Disrepect toward Bladeauction.com staff.
(B) Sham bidding, that is bidding on your own auction. If you are reported for sham bidding and are found by the Bladeauction.com staff to be doing so, your auction(s) may be deleted, your account may be suspended or terminated.
(C) Placing links to other websites in your auction listing. This includes clickable links as well as copy and paste links. Advertising of other websites in any form is prohibited.
(D) Keyword spamming in titles.
(E) Intentional misrepresentation of items.
(F) Providing false information to Bladeauction.com
(G) Having more than one account.
(H) Causing problems for, attempting to cause problems for, or harrassing other Bladeauction.com users.
(I) The use of images or other material that infringe any third party's intellectual property, including copyright, patent, trademark, or other proprietary rights.
Article 8: Charges - Refer to our Fees page By registering at Bladeauction.com you are agreeing to pay any fees associated with using the site. If your account is suspended or banned for cause you will still be responsible for any fees owed to Bladeauction.com that you initially agreed to pay to use our services
Article 9: Privacy - We collect your information so that we can provide it to the winners of your auctions or to the sellers of any auctions that you have won. Your personal information will NEVER be sold or rented. Personal information sent to a user regarding a product bought or sold on Bladeauction.com must not be used for any other purpose, except for communication concerning the auction item.
Article 10: Warranty - Bladeauction.com provides this website on an 'as-is' condition that is without a warranty or condition. Bladeauction.com is not liable for any damages resulting in an auction, or your visit to the site.
Article 11: Violation of any of the terms set forth here will not be tolerated. Any user who violates these terms may have his or her account suspended or banned without notice at our discretion.
Article 12: These terms and conditions may be changed at any time without notice.
